Using the doctor's hands,  the joint is adjusted to increase its range of motion.  This type of technique is most often associated with chiropractic and often results in a "popping" sound.

LOW VELOCITY TECHNIQUES
These gentle techniques are commonly used on pregnant women and children. Logan Basic is a contact near the sacrum, the base bone of your spine.  Pelvic Blocking uses angled blocks placed under the pelvis.  The patient's own body weight is utilized to slowly adjust the pelvis, a frequent site of pain in pregnant women.

FIRST VISIT (2 hours)

  • History, examination and diagnosis
    A  history is taken, written and discussed, followed by a thorough physical examination including orthopedic and neurologic tests and determination of brain hemisphericity.

  • Treatment and Recommended Therapies
    Chiropractic adjustments of the spine and/or extremities, application of brain-based rehab therapies in accordance with neurological findings, use of physical therapy modalities and suggestions on at-home maintenance stretching and rehabilitative exercises to support the in-office treatments.

SUBSEQUENT VISITS (30-45 minutes)

  • After recording progress that has been made since the previous visit,  treatment is applied in accordance with the current state of the patient's condition.
